Primary Location: Building 72, Commando Training Centre Royal Marines, Lympstone, Devon
Role Reports to Community Fundraising Manager
Salary: £21,000 – £22,000 DOE
Type: Full time – 35 hour per week
Closing date: 16 April 2021

Job Purpose

You will be responsible for stewarding and developing our fundraising efforts primarily in the South West and further afield as required. You will be an excellent relationship builder with an approachable and outgoing personality. You will be comfortable approaching individuals, businesses and local authorities. You will be representing the Charity at fundraising events and during online campaigns, helping to organise and administer. You will interact daily with our fundraising community, inspiring, and encouraging them to reach their fundraising targets, and thanking them when successful. The post is office based but will require travel to attend and steward events, as necessary.

You will have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. You will be a confident self-starter able to adapt to a changing environment as the Charity grows. You will require problem solving skills and excellent judgement combined with a meticulous, accurate and disciplined approach to work. You will require good organisational & planning skills and be able to prioritise a varied and busy workload, keeping track of work and delivering to deadlines.
