Home-based in South Wales, with regular travel across South Wales and occasional coverage in Bristol and Gloucestershire
The Royal Naval Benevolent Trust
Permanent
£30,000 – £35,000 plus car allowance & benefits
The RNBT is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Regional Caseworker to deliver high-quality casework to support our beneficiaries across South Wales. The role will also require travel to provide coverage and support in the Bristol and Gloucestershire areas as needed.
The Casework Service, launched in April 2025, is a cornerstone of RNBT’s 5-year strategic vision. Our goal is to place Caseworkers directly within the communities they serve, creating local networks of support and building trust within the armed forces and veteran populations. By working closely with local charities, welfare organisations, and statutory services, the Regional Wellbeing Caseworker helps ensure timely, holistic, and practical support is delivered in a way that empowers individuals and strengthens families.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
The RNBT exists to support Royal Navy Ratings and Royal Marines Other Ranks, both serving and served, and their loved ones, through life’s challenges. Established in 1922 under Royal Charter, The Trust continues to provide a lifeline of support: from financial assistance and training opportunities to wellbeing guidance and signposting, as well as accommodation at our Care Homes and Almshouse.
The RNBT has a ‘family-run’ feel and we have carefully created a supportive, friendly and close-knit team, making it a unique and very special place to work.
