RNRMC – Trusts and Major Donor Fundraiser

RNRMC is looking to recruit a Trusts and Major Donor Fundraiser to join the Fundraising team.

This is a new role which will be responsible for generating new income from Trusts, Foundations and Major Donors. As part of the Fundraising team, you will possess fundraising experience with exceptional writing skills to create compelling applications for funding and lead our Major Donor programme ‘Nelsons Company’.

Building lasting relationships is key to this role and understanding the emotional and behavioural motivations for giving. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small and creative team growing sustainable income for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.

Working hours will be Monday to Wednesday, 17.5 hours per week, but there will be a requirement to be flexible and to work occasional weekends. A clean driving licence is desirable.

The role holder must have at least 12 months experience of securing income from Trusts and Foundations and be a real team player able to deliver projects on time, be reliable and proactive.
