When someone in the RAF family needs help, the charity they turn to is the Royal Air Forces Association. We’re there whenever an injured airman is fighting to get back on their feet or the widow of a WWII veteran needs a shoulder to lean on. Whatever their need, they can rely on us every step of the way to give practical assistance, expert advice and emotional support.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with excellent networking skills and the ability to develop strong professional relationships with the RAF family. Responsible for the recruitment of new members and supporting our members through our branch and Area structure, you will provide advice, guidance and support, following policy and procedures.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior manager with a Level 4 or above management qualification and be ex-RAF or have recent, senior level experience of working closely with the RAF. They will have a hands on approach to getting things done, be a strong motivator and a positive, engaged leader of others with good IT skills and the ability to interpret balance sheets with excellent planning and organisation skills.
The post is based at our new Headquarters at Braunstone Frith, Leicester, with extensive travel throughout the UK and therefore a driving licence is essential.
