Our mission is to ensure that access to welfare support is available to all those who need it and to prevent suffering, poverty, loneliness and isolation. We are proud to have supported over 85,000 members of the RAF community in the last year with both practical and emotional assistance. Our focus for 2021 and beyond is to continue to deliver our existing services, in addition to developing new service initiatives that meet our organisational goals.

This is an exciting opportunity for a values driven business analyst / project professional to be part of an agile and committed IT team and form an integral part of enabling our CRM development and digital transformation agenda supporting our internal directorates of marketing & fundraising, branch & membership and welfare services.

About the team:

The IT project management office is a small team of passionate, solution focused individuals. Reporting to the Head of Group CRM the team are involved in the full lifecycle of projects from building business cases to support the justification of IT transformation projects to support the Associations objectives and goals. The team provide a valuable support to our key stakeholders and directorates, ensuring the roadmap of new activity is effectively developed, implemented and the return on investment demonstrated. You will be part of a fantastic, committed team and achieve the real satisfaction of being a significant part of taking new services from concept to life and seeing the difference these programmes make to the RAF community we support.

About you:

You will ideally come from an environment that is third sector based, though this not essential. A strong desire to use your business analytical and project management skills to deliver valuable and worthwhile services. You will be familiar with the full remit of project management methodologies and have proven experience in CRM and business analytics. Experience or exposure to Salesforce CRM is an advantage but not essential. You will have strong communication skills across a wide range of stakeholders and a collaborative approach. Overall we are looking for a passionate individual who has the desire to use their project management experience for a wider social purpose and as a result you will gain immense job satisfaction from seeing these worthwhile activities reach those who really need it as well as being part of a collaborative values led organisation.
