Royal Air Forces Association – Care Team Leader

Salary: *£19,135 – £20,143 (*Starting Salary) (Pro-rata)
Hours: 30 hours per week on average working rotating shift pattern including weekends.
Location: Richard Peck House, Lytham St Annes

The Royal Air Forces Association is the charity that supports the RAF family. From an injured airman fighting to get back on his feet, to a child missing a parent working away from home, to a WWII veteran in need of companionship, the Association is there.

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, our Care Team Leaders at Richard Peck House in Lytham St Annes, provide a clear lead to the staff team for the period of a shift. Ensuring the highest possible standards are met, paying particular attention to the policies and procedures set by the Royal Air Forces Association (in line with the Care Quality Commission regulation) which provide for a happy, safe, secure and beneficial respite break for guests.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or an equivalent suitable qualification) or willing to work towards it, have the ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with guests, staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, self-motivated and have the experience of supporting and directing others in their work.
