The Royal Air Forces Association is the charity that supports the RAF family. From an injured airman fighting to get back on his feet, to a child missing a parent working away from home, to a WWII veteran in need of companionship, the Association is there.
We are looking for a Property Manager to be responsible for Association owned properties and properties where the Association is the appointed property trustee. The Property Manager will ensure that all properties have a strategic plan, which describes current and potential future use, current condition and recommended maintenance. They will also ensure, for all properties, that a detailed future maintenance plan is in place, fully costed with timescales and all properties are compliant with current legislation including Health and Safety, or that action plans are in place to drive towards compliance where this is considered to be lacking.
The ideal candidate will be a professionally qualified chartered surveyor (RICS) with at least two years post qualification experience. They will have the knowledge and experience of preparing property condition survey reports and management reports, arranging and managing statutory assessments, assisting with the planning and execution of statutory and internal audit assignments and reporting thereof to key stakeholders.
