Location: Flowerdown House, Weston-super-Mare
Hours: Full time
Responsible to: Head of Care and Housing Services

The Royal Air Forces Association is a member-led charity that supports the RAF family. From an injured airman fighting to get back on his feet, to a child missing a parent working away from home, to a WWII veteran in need of companionship, the Association is there.

The Association is looking for a Registered Manager to be the responsible person under the Health and Social Care Act 2008 at their unique ‘hotel’ in Weston-super-Mare, which is registered with CQC. The Registered Manager will maintain the CQC registration and ensure the highest possible standards are met and that guests have a quality ‘home from home’ break. This is not a residential setting but a place where members of the RAF family come for a happy, safe, secure and beneficial respite break.

The manager will provide strong and clear leadership, creating a culture in which the team work closely together to maintain and uphold the RAF ethos of friendship and comradeship.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience of working in the care sector in a registered manager position (with the appropriate Level 5 or equivalent qualifications).

The Association is looking for a strong, professional candidate with proven leadership and management skills.
