The Royal Air Forces Association is a member-led charity that supports the RAF family. From an injured airperson fighting to get back on their feet, to a child missing a parent working away from home, to a WWII veteran in need of companionship, the Association is there.
The Association runs a unique group of hotels across England renowned for providing an exceptional customer experience. We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager to be the responsible person under the Health and Social Care Act 2008 at our ‘hotel’ in Weston-super-Mare, which is registered with CQC.
The Manager will maintain the CQC registration and ensure the highest possible standards are met and that our guests have a quality “holiday experience”. This is not a residential setting, but a place where members of the RAF family come for a short break holiday.
The Manager will manage the day-to-day smooth running of Flowerdown House Wings Breaks hotel, delivering exceptional management and customer service. Creating a culture in which the team work closely together to maintain and uphold the RAF ethos of friendship and comradeship.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience of working in the care sector in a registered manager position (with the appropriate Level 5 or equivalent qualifications) and a willingness to develop hospitality experience.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional candidate with proven leadership and management skills who truly wishes to make a positive difference on a day-by-day basis.
