The Role
We are looking for a technically strong qualified accountant who will be joining us at a really exciting time in a new dynamic team delivering business partnering. You will be someone who is passionate about the charity and care sector and able to deliver high quality financial support to our Support teams (Finance and Commercial, HR, IT, Director General’s Office, Public Affairs, Governance, General Counsel). In total this represents an annual revenue budget of circa. GBP 20m expenditure, with an annual capital projects budget of circa GBP 4m and a nationwide property portfolio including area offices, care homes, drop in centres and a factory.
You’ll be a keen problem solver with an eye for detail, an effective communicator with the ability to build strong relationships, and have a strong focus on customer service, planning and organising. You will have a good track record of developing and providing high quality financial support and be experienced in budgeting and forecasting.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, working closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner (Support) and budget holders to deliver robust financially planning and advice for this important and growing area of the business.
