The Role
This is an exciting role, part of the recently established Innovation and Planning team that sits within the Fundraising directorate. Innovation is one of the Royal British Legion’s priorities, and this role will help shape the future fundraising products offered by the charity.
The core responsibilities of the role include gathering insight about supporters and the market; using this insight to generate ideas for appealing new fundraising products, and then testing and refining these ideas, using prototypes and pilots. Portfolio planning is also part of the role. This involves running a regular review of the performance of our fundraising offerings – and taking action to create space for new initiatives to thrive.
You will have experience in either a fundraising or product development role. The position suits a creative idea generator who also enjoys problem solving, and who can deliver robust new products to market that supporters will find appealing, and that will generate income. This role offers an opportunity to learn about many facets of the work of the charity, and trends in the wider charity sector.
