Join our dynamic team at Royal Hospital Chelsea as a Marketing Manager and make a significant impact on one of the nation’s most treasured heritage sites, which is home to today’s Chelsea Pensioner community.
As the Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing our marketing and communications strategy, with a focus on achieving visitor targets and supporting our broader business objectives. You will collaborate closely with our Audience Engagement team, Communications team, and external consultants to ensure the successful delivery of our projects and maximise the visibility of the Royal Hospital Chelsea in the heritage sector and wider press.
With our recent grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, we are embarking on an exciting journey to restore and adapt the Grade II* Stable Block, designed by Sir John Soane, into a Heritage, Outreach, and Visitor Centre. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the marketing efforts for this project, including the launch campaign, digital activities, and engagement.
To thrive in this role, you should bring a wealth of experience in developing and delivering marketing strategies for nationally significant heritage sites, including the successful launch of major projects. Your proficiency in web and social media content management, event planning, and building networks will be essential in raising awareness of the project. Furthermore, your ability to create captivating marketing materials, and utilise CRM systems will be highly valued.

This is role is contracted for 25 hours per week Monday – Friday and the FTE salary range is £40,125 – £44,424 depending on experience. The closing date for this vacancy is 14 June.
