Scotty’s Little Soldiers – Brand Manager

£35,000 – £38,000 per year

Scotty’s Little Soldiers are a £1.5m UK national charity which provides specialist support for bereaved military children and young people (aged 0-25). We supported 591 young people in 2022, we have a long-term goal to be supporting over 1,000 children and young people by 2030 and will need to grow our income streams to around £3m to achieve this. We deliver 4 Family Programmes; SMILES, SUPPORT, STRIDES and SPRINGBOARD, which provide a range of emotional and educational support for bereaved military families.

We are looking to recruit a Brand Manager to take ownership of the charity’s income generation through the Scotty’s Little Soldiers individual supporters focused brand. This includes individual supporter fundraising, challenges, one-off donations, regular donations, and merchandise sales.

Our Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the annual brand strategy and individual campaign plans, plus budgets for the brand. They will have ownership of all stages of the marketing funnel for the ‘SCOTTY’S’ brand, from supporter acquisition through to advocacy.

This is a permanent, full-time position based at our HQ in King’s Lynn for a minimum of three days per week.

We’re looking for someone:

Our Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the annual brand strategy and individual campaign plans, plus budgets for the brand. They will have ownership of all stages of the marketing funnel for the ‘SCOTTY’S’ brand, from supporter acquisition through to advocacy.

Their role will also include:
• Delivering over £500k of income in 2023 and developing a strategy to grow this further over the next 3-years.
• Creating and managing the brand’s financial budget for the year.
• Delivering our annual programme of fundraising challenges.
• Managing the charity’s merchandise sales, including external suppliers, ranging, pricing, NPD, delisting, and promotion.
