30 June from 09:30 to 17:00
Gardening4Health and Tuppenny Barn are facilitating their second Social and Therapeutic Horticulture Symposium with support from Garden Masterclass on Monday 30 June.
Focus for the symposium is both a general one on Social and Therapeutic Horticulture, but also a specific deep dive into how it can benefit the military community, both serving and veterans.
As well as some informative presentations, we hope you’ll also be able to explore Tuppenny, and see for yourself the wonderful therapeutic work that happens here, and to take advantage of the opportunities to talk with both other delegates and the organisations and sponsors represented. It’s these connections that can prove so valuable to help us all gather momentum in making green therapies more widely established and universally available. The symposium is recommended for STH and mental health Practitioners, GPs, landscape gardeners/ landscape architects or just individuals. Regardless, everyone is most welcome. For anyone that is thinking of setting up a therapy garden this is the ideal opportunity to both hear from those that have first hand knowledge, as well as viewing a community garden on site.
