A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Committees Officer to join the Management Department at SSAFA, the UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced administrator to provide support for all SSAFA committees and Council, as well as company board meetings and related sub-committees. This role will involve making all meeting arrangements, including drafting agendas and collating and issuing papers. You will be responsible for taking minutes during the meetings and following up on actions as required.
To carry out this role successfully you will have:
- Strong administration and organisational skills, with previous experience of minuting meetings
- A good command of the English language
- Advanced IT skills within MS Office
- Ability to work to deadlines and produce time critical reports
- Professional telephone manner
