A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Digital Content Editor in the Digital Marketing department at SSAFA, the UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity.

About the role

The Digital Content Editor is a newly created role in the Digital Marketing department. We are seeking a Digital Content Editor to produce and commission dynamic content that supports the SSAFA brand as well as developing engaging content for specific campaigns, with a key focus on video content. They will help drive forward SSAFA’s overall digital marketing strategy, ensuring the right tone of voice is communicated to our online audience. Providing content on an informed evidence-based opinion to raise awareness of the key issues affecting the Armed Forces community and encourage people to show their support.

 

Requirements

 

To carry out this role successfully you will have a solid understanding of creating content of using persuasion, emotion and trust techniques. You will have proven ability of writing high-quality copy for a range of audiences and channels. Experience of developing content plans to ensure robust online user journey through the creation of copy, and use of video and photography. You will be able to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines. Experience of using content management systems alongside working with email platforms. If you have experience of managing websites, writing editorial copy, working with a varied range of stakeholders and you possess excellent communications skills, then this could be the role for you.
