SSAFA – Facilities Administrator

Circa £21,000 per annum (Band A)
37.5 hours per week
London EC3R

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Facilities Administrator to work in the head office of SSAFA, the UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity.

About the role

As part of a small but busy Facilities team, you will provide essential administrative support to enable the Facilities Department to run smoothly by monitoring budgets and looking after the company car fleet and other facilities contracts. You will also provide practical support to the building which primarily involves porterage, setting up meeting rooms and processing incoming and outgoing mail.

Requirements

To succeed you will have:

  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Proven administrative and numerical skills
  • Demonstrable communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi task and prioritise a heavy and diverse workload

Please note that this role will require you to do a degree of lifting and handling of goods and equipment, for which training will be provided.
