You will be responsible for all aspects of the events management and delivery including venue and speaker hire, supporter communications, partner contract management, sourcing auction prizes and so on.  This is a very hands-on role, and you will be attending and directing most events, which will involve some weekend and evening working.

About you

We would expect you to have senior-level management experience in the charity sector with expertise and sound knowledge of events fundraising in particular.

A passion about delivering outstanding supporter experience is essential whilst delivering ambition and success in highly successful events in a market full of opportunity and healthy challenge.

You will thrive in a collaborative and coaching-style team dynamic and be able to motivate, develop and empower team members to achieve common goals as well as manage expectations and priorities of multiple stakeholder groups. Engaging others from all backgrounds and areas of the business will be an area in which you excel.

Events play a key role within our fundraising strategy as they provide unique opportunities for the charity to bring its welfare support, services and programmes to new audiences and to align our values with those of our supporters and partners in a way that will deliver significant and lasting impact for our beneficiaries and their families.
