A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Health Visitor in Brunei.
About the role
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Health Visitor to be responsible for the provision of a full time Health Visiting Service to Brunei. You will be responsible for delivering and developing health visiting and school health services within the British Garrison Brunei with additional responsibility for the British Garrison in Nepal therefore although the post will be based in Brunei there will be a requirement to travel to Nepal on a regular basis. The Health Visitor works within an integrated Health and Social Care Team, alongside Medical, Nursing, Health, and Social Care professionals.
All SSAFA staff have a responsibility in relation to safeguarding and must adhere to SSAFA child protection procedures and guidelines in conjunction with the Local Command Safeguarding Board (LSB) policies and procedures.
Please note this role is fixed term for 3 years.
Requirements
To carry out this role successfully you will be a Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse, with relevant post qualification experience. You will have a good working knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, with the ability to provide local named nurse leadership and play an active part as a member of the Local Safeguarding Board.
