A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part time Office Administrator at Glasgow’s Helping Heroes, a partnership between SSAFA, the UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity and Glasgow City Council.

About the role

We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic office administrator to support the delivery of holistic services to members of the Armed Forces Community who live and work in Glasgow. This is an exciting time for Glasgow’s Helping Heroes as we move to a new office and relaunch the service.

Requirements

To carry out this role successfully you will have demonstrable administrative experience, the ability to work in a busy environment while maintaining a professional and welcoming attitude.

You will be IT literate with confidence in the use of MS Office and databases. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to develop rapport with a wide range of clients and partners.

You will be comfortable greeting clients at reception, confident answering phone calls in a timely manner and using social media to connect with clients and partners. When faced with difficult situations you will handle it sensitively and identify if there is a need for priority action.
