A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part time UK Veterans in Europe Administrator to join the Volunteers Operations team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.

About the role

You will be Working alongside the UK Veterans Advisor responsible for supporting the UK National Support Fund (UKNSF).

Whilst based at home you will be responding to calls and emails from UK veterans across Germany, France or Cyprus and working closely with our branch chairs. You will take details of the enquiry and where necessary you will triage across to the relevant country whilst providing administrative support to the UK Veterans in Europe Advisor.

The successful post holder will also have the option to work additional hours subject to business requirement.

About the team

You will be reporting into the UK Veterans Advisor and working closely with each other to support our beneficiaries and stakeholders. You will also be working closely with other teams and departments involved in the UKNFS project at SSAFA.  Mainly, Volunteering Operations, Marketing, PR and Digital, Fundraising and our overseas Chairs in Germany, France, and Cyprus.

About you:

Ideally you will possess excellent administration skills and exhibit high levels of attention to detail.  You must be an effective communicator and able to work with individuals at all levels.
