Tabletop Games Details

Imagination Gaming – Imagination Gaming will be running a zone suitable for both gamers and families alike. With a range of games from across the world, their zone will be ideal to start your day, playing games as a family that will challenge and make you laugh in equal measure. If you want something that may focus on a particular area, your children need help with their maths or word games will keep you smiling and entertained and show you how games can help support young people’s learning as well as their social and emotional skills. There is something for everyone here!

Team Yankee – Team Yankee is a tank combat game based on hypothetical World War III scenarios.

Chain of Command – Fast-paced, exciting and fun WW2 wargames rules designed for platoon sized actions with some additional support.

Wings of Glory – WWI & WW2 game system that allows players to recreate aerial combat using cards and miniatures to represent the airplanes and their manoeuvres.

Blood red Skies – A tabletop miniatures game, where you command formations of fighter aircraft in battle. Action in the game is fast-paced – with six or more planes per side.

Warhammer 40K – An exciting and comprehensive futuristic wargame full of strategic decisions, alien species and compelling stories to tell on the tabletop.

I ain’t been shot yet Mum! – WW2 rules by Too Fat Lardies, which are written to provide the gamer with ease of use and accuracy at Company level. The basic unit in this game is the eight or ten figure section, with the lowest command being the Platoon or Troop.

What will I need to bring?

This is a demo and participation event so just yourself, family, friends and plenty of enthusiasm.

The Venue

Visitors to this event will also be able to visit the Army Flying Museum and its facilities at no cost.

The Apache Café is open 0900-1530 for breakfast, lunch and snacks, drinks, cakes and ice creams, with hot food served from 9am – 2.30pm.
