The Army Widows’ Association – Honorary Treasurer

The Army Widows’ Association was formed as an independent charity by army widows in 2004. We are a volunteer run organisation and charity. Our aim is to offer comfort, support and friendship to the widows and widowers of service men and women.

We are seeking an Honorary Treasurer to join our committed Board of Trustees. In addition to fulfilling the duties, obligations and responsibilities of a trustee, the Honorary Treasurer will oversee the financial matters of the charity and report to the Trustee board at regular intervals on the financial health of the organisation.

We would love to hear from you if you have knowledge of:

  • Financial accounting/Book-keeping and reporting procedures
  • Strategic financial planning skills and
  • an ability to communicate financial information to those who may have little or no financial background.
