The Bolton Guild of Help is celebrating 120 years of providing support to the Bolton Military Family and, during 2026; we have set ourselves a target of providing support to at least 100 of our local veterans, those still serving and their families.
The Guild provides help in many ways including:
- The provision of emergency food parcels
- Assistance with electrical and building repairs
- Funding to help provide / repair mobility aids
- Information, advice and guidance regarding benefit entitlements, debt, and other financial matters
- The provision of white goods (washing machines, cookers and fridge/freezers) and furniture etc)
- Access to mental health support teams
- Christmas gift vouchers for children
- School uniforms
- Assistance with energy costs
- Referrals to military charities

Wednesdays at the Bridge Church in Rock Street, Horwich, between 09.30 and 13.30
Thursdays at the Bridge Café in Bradford Street, Bolton, between 09.00 and 13.00
Fridays at The Well in Trafford Street, Farnworth from 10.00 until 13.00
