Location: Activity Centre, King’s Lynn, Norfolk

Status: Full time – 37hrs per week

Salary: £18,018 – £22,126 (depending on skills and experience)

Closing date: 03/01/2022

This is a challenging, enjoyable and rewarding role which involves planning, developing and coordinating stimulating activities and opportunities for the Armed Forces Community who are experiencing a variety of issues.

About the role

We are part of a new and developing social prescribing network and all our activities are designed to promote positive mental health and well-being.

You will facilitate and design our in-house activities, trips and events, this will include a varied social, physical and creative activity programme, and themed day events.  You’ll support and coordinate our volunteers and actively promote our activities programme, matching services to our individual service users’ requests and requirements.

The Bridge for Heroes is a friendly, family charity that has been operating for 11 years. It has developed to become a locally well know, award winning Charity that provides holistic support to service users in all situations.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a collaborative and dynamic approach, with the ability to motivate our service users, colleagues and volunteers to go beyond what they thought was possible and achieve their full potential within a variety of activities.

To have good communications skills in liaising with organisations that social prescribe. The ability to multi-task, and maintain accurate records of attendance and client needs in regards to the activities that service users participate in.

You will be proficient in MS Office, time management and problem-solving skills.

Benefits

Pension: Auto enrolment onto the NEST work pension scheme. You will make a minimum contribution of 5% and the Bridge for Heroes will contribute 3%.

Annual Leave: 28 working days including public/bank holidays
