Combat Stress has been awarded an £8,000 grant by The Eveson Trust, to help fund the charity’s life-changing specialist services for veterans living in the Trust’s geographical beneficial counties of West Midlands, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
On average 73% of veterans who undertake Combat Stress’ treatment recover. This is an incredible impact and significantly above the recovery rate for PTSD of other mental health services.
The grant will help the charity to ensure that veterans in these regions, struggling with complex mental health issues, will continue to receive the best possible treatment and support.

The Eveson Trust is an independent grant maker which provides funding to registered charities whose causes come within its remit and that operate in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and the metropolitan boroughs of the West Midlands. Last year the Trust supported 285 charities with grants worth £4.8m.
