We are excited to announce the launch of the Royal Naval Association Football Club (RNAFC).
The first fixture is in Portsmouth on Tuesday 20th February, HMS Temeriare, 1900 kick off, all support welcome.
Club Chair and RNA Sports and Comradeship Coordinator Chris ‘Scouse’ Reeves said:
“The club is designed to accommodate veterans, spouses and associate members of the RNA to reconnect, reminisce and remember through the avenues of football, regardless of standard.
“Loneliness and disconnecting from others is a huge factor effecting people’s mental health, so whether it be as a player, staff or a spectator.
“We want to connect and reconnect shipmates and keep checking in with each other at games and events!”
With various games planned around the UK and Gibraltar at the end of the 2024, the club is looking for supporters and sponsors.
