The Veterans Charity has announced another major milestone with the delivery of its 1,000th instance of support to Veterans experiencing hardship in 2025 so far.
Since 2011, The Veterans Charity has been dedicated to providing immediate, practical support to Veterans in crisis. This latest milestone highlights both the growing need for urgent assistance and the impact the charity continues to make nationwide.
“Every single delivery represents a Veteran who has been given dignity, relief, some stability and reassurance in a time of difficulty,” said Danny Greeno, CEO of The Veterans Charity. “Reaching 1,000 support cases this year already is both a mark of our team’s capability and commitment and a reminder of why our work is so vital.”
The Veterans Charity provides essential provisions including food, utilities, clothing, household items, communications and even temporary emergency accommodation, ensuring Veterans do not face hardship alone and can get life’s essentials, rapidly. More than 70% of the charity’s caseload is referred by many other charities and organisations with client’s who have immediate needs.
This achievement has only been possible thanks to the generosity of donors, the hard work of volunteers, and the ongoing support of partners across the UK.
As demand for support continues to rise, The Veterans Charity is seeking new donors and partners who want to help the charity to continue delivering for those facing crisis.
