SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, has been unveiled as the third highest overall climber in the latest Charity Brand Index report, published by Third Sector.
The annual report determines which charities the general public are most aware of, which they intend to support and also measures trust levels. More than 4,000 UK adults were polled between June and August in 2017 to pull the data together.
Justine Baynes, Director of Marketing and Communications at SSAFA, said: “It’s a testament to the hard work of the whole SSAFA team that we have made such a significant leap in the index. The support we offer to serving personnel, veterans and their families is vital and sharing this effectively with the public allows us to make even more of a difference to those in need.
“SSAFA has leapt up 29 places in the Charity Brand Index over the last year, proving that the dedication of our network and staff is truly paying off. We look forward to growing this progress further.”
