This trip was the break we all needed

Center Parcs has supported Give Us Time for a number of years now and our families are always so excited to go. We would like to thank Center Parcs again for their donations that allow families the chance to escape the difficulties of everyday life for Ken’s family this includes not only the normal stresses of military life such as deployment and exercises whilst juggling a family but also their daughters’ complicated health condition. A respite break courtesy of Center Parcs allowed the family to temporarily forget all of that, enjoy each other’s company, relax and explore the stunning surroundings and most importantly have fun!

Shortly after their return, Ken sent us this heart-warming message:

“THANK YOU SO MUCH. This trip was the break we all needed.

Since Sophie’s diagnosis over a year ago, the family haven’t had the opportunity to sit back and relax.  Our trip to Longleat was just that.

The girls thoroughly enjoyed bike riding and going on morning walks through the beautiful forest tracks and loved pedalling us all around the lake on the pedal boat. The kids said that their favourite part of the trip was the swimming pool and water slides.

Mostly though, it was a great opportunity for my wife and I to relax and enjoy some quality time as a family and enjoy the good food from some of the park’s restaurants.

We would like to extend our thanks to the Center Parcs staff for donating the 3-night break and a massive thank you to ‘Give Us Time’ for allowing us the opportunity to take the break.”

Everyone at Give Us Time is so happy that the family enjoyed their break loved reading their messages and photos and cannot thank Center Parcs enough for their generosity.
