We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Fundraising and Events Manager to join our dynamic team at VETERANS WITH DOGS. This role is crucial in planning, organizing, and executing fundraising events that align with our charity’s strategic goals. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing successful fundraising events, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive events strategy that supports our mission to enhance the lives of veterans through the support of assistance dogs. Your expertise will help us create memorable experiences for our supporters while raising vital funds for our cause.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute a variety of fundraising events and community events.
  • Manage event budgets to ensure financial targets are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with event committees, volunteers, donors, and external suppliers.
