Wilton Hill Veterans Campus – Recruitment Opportunities

Alabaré is proud to be working in partnership with developers Our Wilton Trust on the scheme which is expected to be completed May 2019. The residential facility and enterprise training programme aims to ensure that each service leaver makes a good transition into civilian life and on to the next stage in their career. The personalised support available to them at Wilton Hill will include access to employment opportunities on an adjoining enterprise unit as well as a planned company sponsorship programme and an apprenticeship scheme.

Housing Manager – To manage the Veterans’ Accommodation Service in the Our Wilton Veterans Campus and surrounding area. You will deliver an excellent Housing Management Service by creating a culture within the homes that is a supportive community ethos and encourages aspiration of the residents into volunteering and paid work. 37.5 hours per week, salary of £30,088.88 rising to £33,119.29.

Team Leader – To assist the Housing Manager, with the supervision and co-ordination of the work. On a day to day basis oversee the performance of the service, acting as the main point of contact for the team. To bring innovative and imaginative ideas to engage with veterans as they journey into civilian life. 37.5 hours per week with an annual salary of £21,526.54 rising to £21,986.25.

Housing Support Worker – A Housing Support Worker should be flexible in their approach, you will support the Team Leader and Housing Manager develop innovative and effective practice relating to service user involvement, key working and outcome monitoring as required to support the veterans to lead fulfilling and independent lives. Various hours available, hourly rate £9.09 rising to £9.32.

Administrator – To provide Administration support to the Our Wilton project staff. You should have excellent oral and written communication skills, organisational skills and have the ability to lone work or work within in a team.  You will be required to collect and enter data, you will meet and greet the public as well as service users so a non-judgemental attitude is required. 16 hours per week with an annual salary of £7,562.88 rising to £7,754.24.

Live-in Caretaker – This is a live-in role in a 1 bedroom flat, to take care of property and ensure residents have clean and safe places to live.  To be a friendly face that our residents can rely upon. For this post you are required to have an understanding of H&S, Fire and other statutory legislation. This post requires you to have basic DIY Skills. 37.5 hours per week with an annual salary of £17,725.91 rising to £18,168.64.

Alabaré also require a Health, Safety & Compliance Manager – Working throughout the Charity you will be pro-actively supporting all departments with accurate Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental and Property support. Ensuring that Alabaré is fully compliant with both Charity and legislative requirements. You should be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills to establish credibility across all levels of the Charity. The post holder should have a full driving licence with access to a road worthy vehicle.  A recognised safety qualification, NEBOSH or equivalent is essential for this role. 37.5 hours per week, salary of £30,088.88 rising to £33,119.29.  You will be based at Alabaré Central Services, Churchfields Office, Salisbury.
