X-Forces Enterprise shares congratulations on Ren Kapur MBE’s appointment as High Sheriff of the Royal County of Berkshire

As a member of Cobseo, X-Forces Enterprise is pleased to share that Ren Kapur MBE, Founder and CEO of the organisation, will be sworn in as High Sheriff of the Royal County of Berkshire on Friday 27 March at 12:00 at Reading Crown Court.

Ren is known to many across the Cobseo membership through her work supporting the Armed Forces community, particularly in the areas of enterprise, education and social mobility. An Army Reservist and recipient of an MBE for services to entrepreneurship, she has long championed opportunities for service leavers, veterans, spouses and military families.

The Office of High Sheriff is one of the oldest secular appointments in the UK and today plays an important role in supporting the judiciary, police, emergency services, and voluntary and community sectors. Ren’s appointment will no doubt be of interest to many across the Cobseo network, given her longstanding commitment to service and the wider Armed Forces community.

During her year of office, Ren’s focus will include supporting young people and championing volunteering, two themes that reflect values shared by many organisations across the Confederation. In remaining true to her passion, her Judicial Service in October will feature the Military Wives Choir, the Padre and Bugler from The Royal Signals.

X-Forces Enterprise is proud to see this appointment and pleased to share the news with fellow Cobseo Members. We offer Ren our warm congratulations and every good wish for the year ahead.
