Alabaré are looking for a full time Senior Support Worker for our Veterans service based in Salisbury. To assist the Service Manager with the supervision and coordination of the work of the service to ensure compliance with the requirements of the funder(s). In particular, to act as the primary point of contact/referral for the service, coordinating allocations and providing a focal point for the team to facilitate a coordinated approach on a day to day basis

In return we are looking for someone who has:
- Experience of working in the supported housing sector.
- Experience of managing own professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Good working knowledge of the welfare benefits system along with Health & Safety Legislation.
- Experience of working effectively with petty cash and financial procedures.
- Ability to work on own initiative and to manage and prioritise workloads.
- Ability to engage with Veterans who have complex needs and challenging behaviour.
- Basic administration and IT skills.
- Be a good team player and have good communication skills both oral and written.
- Car driver essential with access to a road worthy vehicle and business insurance.
