The Contact Group and Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Quality Network for Veterans Mental Health Services (QNVMHS) are holding their third Annual Forum for veterans mental health services online on 11 July 2023.
The event is open to anyone interested in hearing more about developments in the field of veterans mental health services, from stakeholder organisations as well as services that are delivering mental health support to veterans, both statutory and non-statutory.
You can view the full programme on the QNVMHS website. Presentations will be covering updates from QNVMHS, the Contact Group and Cobseo to hear about the latest projects and developments. There will also be some research shared from the King’s Centre for Military Health Research and the Forces in Mind Trust, as well as projects conducted at Fighting with Pride in supporting LGBT+ people in the Armed Forces. The afternoon will feature workshop sessions from member services signed up to QNVMHS to share some examples of good practice within their services to facilitate shared learning.
The event is free for staff working within a QNVMHS member veteran mental health service, or £70 for all other attendees. You can book your place to attend using this online booking form.
