This is an exciting role in a busy newsroom for an ambitious Motion Graphic Designer.

We need someone who’s curious about the world and is enthusiastic about turning complex detail into easy at-a-glance graphics and eye-catching digital multi-platform content.

Forces News is part of BFBS (the British Forces Broadcasting Service) with a huge global reach, of more than a million subscribers on social media and video platforms.

As a key member of the team, you will help tell stories about the Britain’s military and the defence world to a highly-engaged audience.

Using your creativity and imagination, you’ll work hand in hand with reporters and producers, contributing to daily editorial meetings to generate content for news stories and features that could be driving the next big trends on social media within the world of defence.

No two days are the same, one day working to a tight deadline and another getting deep into your own project.

You’ll be a Jedi knight when it comes to mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud, with at least two years of experience, and a passion to experiment with the latest tools.

Our supportive team embraces remote working but we will expect you to be sometimes be in the office to aid collaboration and to bring ideas to life.
