BFBS – Project Manager

BFBS Technology is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team for 12 months covering maternity leave during an exciting period of expansion at BFBS.

We are ideally looking for a highly motivated and organised individual who has experience working in the broadcast industry and appreciates variety in the type of projects they deliver. We are seeking Project Manager’s with either waterfall or Agile project management experience to manage projects across platforms, which positively impact the wellbeing of the armed forces audiences we serve.

BFBS’s technological challenges are at the cutting edge of broadcast and IP technology, demanding a visionary approach, with practical experience and proven ability.  This role is a rare opportunity within the broadcast and media industry to work on truly innovative solutions which make a real difference to lives of the people and their families who serve their country.

We are looking for an excellent communicator who is highly organised, methodical in performing their duties, with an ability to effectively manage their time, potentially with multiple conflicting requirements.

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Demonstrable Project Management experience within a formalised governance environment.
  • A recognised project management qualification such as APM, PRINCE2 or PMI. ​​​
  • Confident in the utilisation of project management processes & disciplines such as Agile & Waterfall.

We would also prefer you to have previous Broadcasting industry experience or working within a technology environment, coupled with an understanding of IT, broadcasting, IPTV, OTT and the media industry, but this isn’t essential.
