Blind Veterans UK – Housekeeper

Most of us grow up with 5 senses and can’t imagine what it’s like to lose any one of those.

For some ex-service people, this is their reality. Suddenly their whole way of life is changed, even walking to the shops becomes a huge task.

Fortunately, Blind Veterans are here to help rebuild their lives. But they can’t do it alone.

You’ll have a shared responsibility with your colleagues to ensure the Centre of Wellbeing remains safe, secure and clean. You’ll also need to keep up with some paperwork to help everyone stay on the same page.

It will be an added bonus if you have any emergency first aid skills.

This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week across 5 out of 7 days with staggered shift patterns. Part time hours could be considered.

– Unsociable Hours Allowance
– 25 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays
