You’re a diligent and professional cleaner with a strong awareness of COSHH, infection control and manual handling practices.
You’ll have the chance to join us at a key point as we open our new facility and be able to help define cleaning and housekeeping processes whilst supporting the most deserving individuals, helping them to recover and making a real difference in their lives.
You’ll join our Operations Team and deliver a first class cleaning service across the Rustington Centre of Wellbeing to ensure a positive experience for residents, beneficiaries and visitors.
You’ll undertake a daily cleaning routine as a key element of your role as a Housekeeper, getting involved in deep cleaning tasks in all rooms and public areas within the Centre. You’ll manage laundry, clean and set up function rooms and dispose of waste and recycling.
You’ll take a shared responsibility along with team colleagues to ensure the Centre of Wellbeing remains safe and secure as well as checking all required paperwork is completed and kept up to date.
About You
You’ll be an experienced cleaner from a care home or hotel setting used to working to the highest possible standards, with COSHH, infection control and manual handling awareness that you’ve gained from a previous role or formal training. Knowledge of IOSH and emergency First Aid is desirable.
This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week across 5 out of 7 days with staggered shift patterns. Part time hours could be considered for the right candidate.
