This year marks the 80th Anniversary of the end of World War II – a powerful moment to reflect, honour and remember the thousands Jewish men and women who served in HM Armed Forces.
In 2025, our theme is Carry Them Forward, Marching Together – and we are asking our community to come together in strength and pride to honour those who fought, served, and sacrificed. With rising antisemitism, this year’s Parade is more vital than ever showing the pride of British Jews in our contribution to the society around us.
How Your organisation and members can Get Involved:
- Encourage your members / supporters to March with us: They can register at www.ajex.org.uk now. We especially welcome first-time participants and families of those who served. If they have family medals they can wear them in Remembrance.
- Gather a group of people across the generations to march under your organisation banner. (If you already have a banner it will be on the parade ground waiting for you. If you don’t and want to purchase one please contact headoffice@ajex.org.uk by mid October.)
- Support from the sidelines: No need to register – just save the date and join us on the East Whitehall Pavement behind the barrier.
- 8 for 80: For individuals who have marched before, ask them to help us by bringing eight new people to mark this 80th year – they don’t need a military connection to participate.
- Spread the word: Please share the attached flyer in your newsletters, emails, and WhatsApp groups to help us.
This year’s Parade will be especially poignant. Eighty years on, we reaffirm our solemn promise to never forget. Your presence helps show that legacy lives on
