The three Families Federations are developing a new tri-Service digital information portal to support them throughout the overseas posting journey.
Your hard-earned knowledge can help us design it so it meets the real needs of our community.
It’s part of the Valuing Forces Families Overseas project (VFFO) delivered by AFF, in partnership with the Naval and RAF Families Federations and backed with a £500,000 grant from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust.
This initiative will provide information from initial planning and arrival, through to reintegration back in the UK or onward posting.
The portal is a key part of the work and will improve access to essential information as well as enhance communication to families.
How can you help?
If you’re serving overseas or you’ve returned from an overseas assignment in the past year, your input will be invaluable.
We’re gathering insights to shape the portal and are inviting Service personnel and families to take part in short, informal interviews.
Please complete this form to volunteer. Interviews will take place in December and can be scheduled around your availability.
VFFO is currently in a discovery and development phase. This will help us find out what information and guidance Service personnel and families need when they’re posted overseas.
We’d be grateful if you could share this message with anyone in your networks who may have relevant experience and be willing to contribute.
