DMWS is an international charity that has been providing welfare support to the Armed Forces Community for over 70 years. We are unique and remain the only military charity and civilian welfare organisation to deploy to areas of conflict to support our Armed Forces. Future work will see our organisation diversifying to cover other uniformed services across the UK.
All Roles Require:
Confident self-starters, who are compassionate with great inter-personal skills and who can demonstrate a natural empathy for our Service Users. These posts require flexibility and willingness to work unsociable hours, weekends, Public Holidays and to participate in On Call rota. You will be a person who we can call on, to cover holiday, sickness and project start-ups. Bespoke training will be available. Working as part of a team you will be supporting service users when they are in hospital (inpatient and outpatient), or receiving treatment in community based health facilities. Work will be arranged dependant on service needs and by mutual agreement.
