Location: Home based in North Devon
Contract: Permanent, Bank 0 hour contract (Must be able to work a minimum of 1 day per week)
Salary: £13.50 per hour

We are looking for someone with strong people skills, who can work independently and as part of a large team, to join the DMWS Bank Team at North Devon.
DMWS is an international charity that has been providing welfare support to the Armed Forces Community for over 75 years. In recent years we have extended our support to include veterans, NHS staff and the emergency services. We also provide support to The Merchant Navy. The help is given in a range of circumstances including when they are receiving hospital care, help is formed of both practical and emotional support. Families can also count on DMWS to get them through a trying time.
The responsibilities will be the welfare and effective management of referrals as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be required to correctly assess the welfare needs of service users with unfaltering professionalism and sensitivity. You will be a creative individual with the ability to co-ordinate and deliver a number of services in the North Devon area. Additional hours may be available to support other projects within DMWS with a possibility that unsociable hours and on call rotas may be a part of your work. Experience in health and social or welfare services essential.
