Location: Based at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge
Contract: 6 Month Contract (with possible extension)
Salary: £26,000 per annum (£13k for the 6 month post)

We are looking for someone with great interpersonal skills, compassion and who is extremely motivated to join our forward-thinking organisation.

We are an international charity that has been providing welfare support for over 75 years. This exciting opportunity is to work with the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust to provide specialist emotional and practical support to address barriers to recovery, independent living and to improve health and well-being of a wide range of patients including:-

  • Armed Forces Community
  • Elderly
  • Homeless
  • Patient with Long Term Conditions
  • Frequent hospital attenders

We are looking for a Voluntary Services Co-ordinator to harness local and national networks of voluntary services and community groups to best meet the patient’s needs and preferences. You also need to have empathy with socially isolated individuals, excellent written and verbal communication skills, unfaltering professionalism and a passion for welfare service.
