Location: Northamptonshire – hybrid and flexible working
Contract: Permanent: negotiable up to full time 35hours weekly
Salary: £56,164 to 65,262 (calculated pro-rata)

Defence Medical Welfare Service is seeking a Principle Clinical Psychologist (negotiable hours, up to full time 35hours) and particularly keen to hear from people in Northamptonshire, though applications will be considered across the UK. This job offers hybrid and flexible working with option to provide sessional services.
This exciting new opportunity exists to work within a supportive and collaborative team delivering a range of psychological services and interventions to emergency frontline workers at DMWS. The Principal Psychologist will have the opportunity to lead and develop a project which will address the specific needs of emergency service workers. DMWS are expanding their specialist clinical team and this new role will be key to extending the core welfare provision provided. Key Capabilities/Knowledge
Clinical Psychologist- qualified to doctorate level with experience of working with individuals and groups to deliver interventions.
• Post-graduate doctoral level training in Applied Psychology (or its equivalent as accredited by the BPS including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology
• At least 2 years Post qualification experience
• Registered through an appropriate -HCPC registration.
