As we have been doing for many years FANYs supported London Poppy Day raising vital funds for the Royal British Legion.
London Poppy Day is the flagship fundraising event for the Royal British Legion’s annual Poppy Appeal and mobilises over 1,000 uniformed personnel from the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force, along with an additional 1,000 veterans, volunteers, and supporters. The presence and efforts of these individuals are crucial in ensuring the success of the event, allowing for significant fundraising that directly benefits those who have served and their loved ones.
FANYs were collecting across the capital at Victoria, Cannon Street, and Waterloo stations – thank you so much to everyone who contributed to the appeal!
