As part of Op ASCEND, HighGround has developed a ground-breaking two-year programme specifically designed to support female veterans in their transition to new careers within the Further Education land-based sector. This innovative initiative will provide participants with the tools and qualifications necessary to succeed.
This rewarding, fully funded programme will culminate in the participants earning a Level 3 AET qualification, a key stepping stone toward a teaching career in the Further Education land-based sector.
Dates for the course – 2026
Residential 1 (In-Person): 13–14 February (Friday / Saturday)
Reading Week: 16–20 February (No Online Delivery)
Online Sessions (Thursdays, 16:00–17:00):

End: Week beginning 27 April
(Includes a break for Easter = 30 March – 10 April)
