The role of Employer Partnerships Manager supports both the delivery of the Executive Programme, and the wider work of FEC. The post-holder needs to be able to build and sustain meaningful and productive partnerships with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the charity, collaborating, influencing, and supporting as appropriate for the benefit of the FEC’s clients.
This is a Full-time role, 35 hours per week with a salary ranging between £36,500- 38,000 depending on experience. The successful candidate will be required to work from our London office (2 days per week on average) and flexibility to work from home with regular visits to client offices and attendance at events.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support delivery of the Executive Programme
- Develop and manage new and existing relationships with employers and key stakeholders
- Identify opportunities with employers for event sponsorship, speakers, and venues
- Partnering with employers
- Building employment pathways, opportunities and roles for service leavers and veterans seeking executive level roles
- Developing internal military talent pipelines
- Liaising effectively with CTP and other employment relationship managers across FEC
- Collaborate in building shared tools and processes to coordinate employer relations efficiently and effectively.
- Membership of Executive Services team
- Striving for Executive Services to be recognised and acknowledged for providing a first-class service as part of the go-to military charity for employment.
- Ensure departmental compliance with ISO 9001 (and other) frameworks within the Executive Services department.
- Excellent, concise, and accurate written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong networking skills: the enthusiasm and ability to create and sustain lasting relationships that will support the work of FEC.
- Demonstrable analytical skills with an ability to identify trends and analyse results.
Experience
- Proven experience in business development and managing relationships with external organisations and stakeholders.
- Ideally bringing an existing network of employers and organisations that will support the work of FEC.
- Ideally bringing a network of veterans and individuals connected with the work of FEC.
- Track record of developing effective and productive relationships with senior managers and stakeholders.
Personal Attributes
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. Able to communicate well with people at all levels and build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter, with initiative and judgement, able to identify and develop opportunities, whilst working largely unsupervised.
