The Gurkha Welfare Trust – Individual Giving Manager

We are looking for an experienced Individual Giving Manager to develop and implement the Trust’s annual donor acquisition and donor development programmes so as to increase income and attract new supporters. The role will include the development of a comprehensive Individual Giving strategy and implementation plan with regular analysis of activities.

The Trust is in year one of a five year plan to grow the database of supporters and develop the value within the base, specifically in mid value, legacy, regular and cash giving.

Place of Work: Salisbury, Wiltshire

Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours of work: Full-time (37.5 hours with an hour unpaid break for lunch). It is essentially office based with occasional meetings out of the office.  Time off in lieu (TOIL) is offered for any out of hours working.

Probation: Six months

Annual Leave: 25 days plus Bank Holidays.

Pension: The Trust runs a contributory pension scheme where it will double match your contribution up to a maximum of the Trust contributing 10% of your salary.

Private Health Ins.: Upon successful completion of the probationary period, the Trust will fund the cost of private medical insurance equivalent to BUPA Heartbeat.
