With the recent events in Afghanistan and the relocation of those Interpreters and embedded civilians who supported our British Armed Forces, many are arriving in the UK with the same injuries and traumas that our veterans face.  At Help for Heroes, we have the expertise, knowledge and skills to provide the support they need and deserve.  To do this, we need to increase our capacity so that we can deliver these services to them and their families.

About Us

At Help for Heroes, we believe those who serve our country deserve support when they are wounded. Every day, men and women have to leave their career in the Armed Forces as a result of physical or psychological wounds; their lives changed forever. We help them, and those still serving, to recover and get on with their lives.

We have an incredible opportunity to join a small team, on a 12-month fixed term contract initially, to support those Interpreters and embedded civilians, who stood side by side with our troops in Afghanistan at our time of need. Now, more than ever, they need the nation’s support.

As One Team we share a philosophy – I.C.A.R.E. It’s the way we walk and talk, the way we interact with others and how we approach everything we do. We are: Innovative – Collaborative – Authentic – Resourceful – Energetic.
